Asaf Zakay's pursuit of artistic and aesthetic excellence has resulted in three dimensional glass designs that are of stunning beauty.

Asaf, founder of Zakay Glass Creations, is a stained glass artist that creates stunning three dimensional art works using the medium of bevelled glass.  These unique, timeless art pieces are like gemstones, the facets and symmetries shimmer as colours of the rainbow bounce off their bevelled edges when they are touched by natural and artificial light as they hang in homes, on balconies, foyers of corporate centres and hotels throughout Australia and around the world.

Each handcrafted piece is carefully constructed using the stained glass technique, a process Asaf studied whilst he was in Israel.  Asafs glass collection includes a variety of 15 shapes, which range in size and colour. Each magnificent stained glass creation is a sacred symbol, evolving from geometric patterns.  Asaf believes the significance of these powerful and transformative shapes are a doorway to tap into the unlimited potential of the human spirit.

These extraordinary glass creations sole meaning is concerned with love, peace and harmony.  When you come in the presence of such classic work you are truly reminded of the beauty in all things as each piece crafted is based on the principles of sacred geometry, the same rules that the Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci was painted and the architectural design of the Parthenon was built.  The energy of each shape is radiating with an undeniable warmth of love.    The central shape, the star tetrahedron is made of two interlocking pyramids, representing male and female, in divine union and balance.

Asaf's background as a glass fitter and naturally gifted artist led him to explore the art of stained glass, a medium with which he now works full time.

Asaf has realised his passion and his creative energy continues to flow as he intuitively produces creations that radiate visual magic of stunning timeless presence.  As he grows so does his work, continually producing more complex and visually exciting forms of geometry, which change the world around us into an experience of higher intention, greater freedom and possibility.
